About the Role
The University of San Francisco School of Law is searching for a motivated and accomplished individual to serve as its Academic Support Law Faculty Fellow. In this full-time, on-site position based in the United States, you will contribute to the law school's Academic Support Program (ASP), a key part of the wide-ranging academic assistance offered to every law student. The ASP is designed to support students from culturally, educationally, economically, or historically underrepresented backgrounds as they navigate the demands of legal education.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction and academic guidance that strengthens law students' analytical, writing, and exam preparation skills
- Support and mentor students who face cultural, educational, economic, or historical barriers to success
- Contribute to the design and delivery of programming within the Academic Support Program
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to advance the law school's broader academic support services
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging learning environment for all participants
Qualifications
- A demonstrated record of energy, initiative, and relevant professional experience
- Background in law, legal education, or academic support work
- Commitment to advancing equity and access for students from diverse backgrounds
- Strong communication, mentoring, and collaborative abilities
