City National Bank is hiring a full-time Entity Desk Specialist in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish, to safeguard the accuracy of ownership documentation across our home lending portfolio. About the Role

As an Entity Desk Specialist at City National Bank, you will examine and refine the documentation that supports how borrowers hold and convey title. Working closely with lending and closing teams, you'll ensure that signature authority, ownership arrangements, and powers of attorney are correctly reflected for home equity lines of credit, purchase loans, and refinance transactions in Baton Rouge.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and correct signature blocks to confirm signing authority is properly established for each transaction.
• Evaluate powers of attorney (POAs) to validate that delegated authority is documented accurately and appropriately.
• Analyze entity structures and layered ownership arrangements tied to loan files.
• Interpret and verify documentation for a range of entities, including Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts, LLCs, Partnerships, and Corporations.
• Support home equity line of credit, purchase, and refinance transactions by ensuring entity and ownership details are precise and compliant.
• Coordinate with internal partners to resolve discrepancies and keep transactions moving forward.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with legal entity structures such as trusts, LLCs, partnerships, and corporations.
• Understanding of signature authority, powers of attorney, and how ownership is documented in lending transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing complex documents.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for collaborating across teams.
• Comfortable working on-site in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish, in a full-time capacity.
