Maximus is hiring a full-time Skillbridge Operations & Business Development Associate in Gaithersburg, Montgomery County — an on-site opportunity for transitioning service members participating in the DoD SkillBridge program (skillbridge.osd.mil) to gain hands-on experience supporting a high-performing Business Development team.
About the Role
As a Skillbridge Operations & Business Development Associate at Maximus, you will work alongside the Business Development department in Gaithersburg, contributing to analysis, process refinement, and the day-to-day execution of key initiatives. This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy turning data and research into actionable insight while supporting cross-functional projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform business analysis that informs and strengthens Business Development decision-making.
- Contribute to process improvement efforts and help advance project deliverables on schedule.
- Investigate emerging market trends and gather intelligence to support strategic planning.
- Lend support to special projects across the Business Development function.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and take on additional assignments as needs arise.
Qualifications
- Eligibility to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program as a transitioning service member.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify patterns.
- Comfort managing multiple priorities and supporting project deliverables in a collaborative setting.
- Clear written and verbal communication, including experience producing reports.
- Availability to work on-site in Gaithersburg, Montgomery County (this role is not remote).
