About the Role
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with Open Arms Care Corporation in Cleveland, Bradley County, you'll provide hands-on assistance and compassionate care to the individuals we serve. This is an in-person, full-time opportunity with 2nd and 3rd shift openings, and weekend availability is required for this position. A $500 sign-on bonus is available for the 2nd shift full-time role.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver daily personal care, support, and supervision to the individuals in our programs.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and encouraging environment that promotes dignity and independence.
- Work scheduled weekend shifts according to the assigned rotation — for example, both Saturday and Sunday, or a Friday/Saturday or Sunday/Monday pairing.
- Cover assigned 2nd or 3rd shift hours dependably and as scheduled.
- Complete a paid two-week orientation during first-shift hours (8:00am–5:00pm) before beginning your regular schedule.
Qualifications
- A caring, dependable, and motivated attitude with a genuine desire to help others.
- Willingness and availability to work the required weekend rotation.
- Flexibility to work 2nd or 3rd shift schedules as assigned.
- Commitment to attending the full paid orientation during daytime hours.
