Aveo Oncology is seeking an accomplished regulatory leader to join its Boston-based team as Executive Director, Regulatory Affairs, guiding the global regulatory strategy behind a growing oncology portfolio.
About the Role
As Executive Director, Regulatory Affairs at Aveo Oncology in Boston, Suffolk County, you will set the direction for global regulatory activities across the company's oncology programs. This full-time, on-site position blends strategic vision with hands-on operational leadership, reporting into the Vice President / Senior Vice President of Regulatory Affairs. You will help shape how innovative cancer therapies advance through worldwide health authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the global regulatory strategy for Aveo Oncology's oncology pipeline.
- Direct the day-to-day execution of regulatory operations across multiple programs.
- Partner with senior regulatory leadership to align objectives with broader development goals.
- Serve as a primary point of contact and advisor for global regulatory matters within the organization.
- Provide leadership and mentorship that strengthens the Regulatory Affairs function.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in global regulatory affairs, ideally within oncology or related therapeutic areas.
- A track record of building and executing regulatory strategies for drug development programs.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to guide teams and influence cross-functional partners.
- Strong knowledge of worldwide regulatory requirements and health-authority interactions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills suited to a senior, on-site Boston role.
