About the Role
As a 2nd Shift KOMO CNC Machine Operator, you'll run computer-controlled routing equipment that cuts and shapes the components used in our classroom and early-learning furniture. This is a full-time, on-site position in Wabasso, Minnesota, ideal for hands-on professionals who take pride in precision woodworking and consistent, high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor KOMO CNC routing machines during the 2nd shift production cycle.
- Load materials, run programmed jobs, and verify that finished parts meet specifications.
- Perform routine quality checks and dimensional inspections throughout each run.
- Complete basic machine maintenance and keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow safety procedures and report equipment issues promptly to keep production on schedule.
Qualifications
- Experience operating CNC machinery, ideally KOMO routers, in a manufacturing or woodworking setting.
- Ability to read job specifications and confirm parts are produced to tolerance.
- Comfort working a 2nd shift schedule on a full-time basis.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Capable of standing for extended periods and handling materials common to a production environment.
