Mercor is seeking an Electrical Engineer – AI Trainer to connect with AI research labs. Responsibilities include authoring and reviewing technical tasks, producing original problem sets, and collaborating with AI research teams.
Requirements
- PhD in Electrical Engineering
- MS in EE with 3+ years circuit, systems, or signal processing experience
- BS in EE with 5+ years applied EE, design, or test experience
- Working fluency in at least two of: signals and systems, control systems, communications, power, electromagnetics
- Comfortable interpreting frequency response plots, Bode diagrams, Smith charts, and performance curves
- Clear technical writing; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form

- Hourly contractor with a starting rate of $85/hour
- Strong contributors may be promoted based on task quality and throughput
