As a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, you will perform multiple quality assurance tasks to ensure externally sourced products meet the quality and technical requirements defined by Westinghouse. The role involves managing supplier program development, oversight, and quality verification activities, and traveling 40-50% of the time.
Requirements
- Develop and implement supplier surveillance and oversight plans
- Resolve supplier quality issues
- Perform independent assessments and oversight
- Create certification documents
- Lead assessments of the global supply base
- Evaluate supplier quality plans and processes
- Apply advanced quality control techniques and statistical methods
- Write QA plans/programs according to current U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Westinghouse and customer QA standards
