Mercor
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to author technical tasks, review and annotate tasks involving diagrams and schematics, and produce original problem sets and write reference solutions. The ideal candidate has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, or MS with 3+ years of applied experience, or BS with 5+ years in design, simulation, or manufacturing.
Requirements
- PhD in Mechanical Engineering, or MS with 3+ years of applied experience, or BS with 5+ years in design, simulation, or manufacturing.
- Working fluency in at least two of: statics/dynamics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, machine design, or heat transfer.
- Comfortable with engineering drawings, free-body diagrams, and performance curves.
- Prior teaching, tutoring, or technical writing experience (preferred)
