Mercor is looking for a Research Psychologist to evaluate AI model performance on psychology problems and improve training data quality. The role involves technical tasks, original problem sets, and providing clear feedback to improve downstream performance.
Requirements
- PhD in Psychology, PsyD, or MS in Psychology with 3+ years clinical, research, or applied experience
- BA/BS in Psychology with 5+ years applied research, clinical support, or teaching experience
- Working fluency in at least two of: cognitive, clinical, developmental, social, biological psychology
- Comfortable reading and interpreting experimental designs, statistical plots, and behavioral data figures
- Clear technical writing; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form
