Estimator – Interior Construction

RemoteVA PH is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join our growing construction team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience preparing accurate cost estimates, budgets, and proposals for interior fit-out projects. You will collaborate closely with our design, procurement, and construction teams to deliver competitive, high-quality bids that align with project goals and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings and specifications to prepare comprehensive material and labor estimates.
• Source and coordinate pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Develop detailed cost breakdowns and client proposals.
• Collaborate with the design team to verify project scope and identify value engineering opportunities.
• Support seamless handoff to construction teams, ensuring all estimate details are clearly communicated.

Requirements

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in commercial or interior fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and NYC building standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, Plan Swift, and/or other estimating software.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical documents.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AutoCAD and architectural design software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
