About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Full-Stack Engineer with a strong foundation in Ruby and experience with the Padrino framework. This role plays a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that power our core business operations. This role requires a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications using Ruby and Padrino
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party applications.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code adhering to best practices and security standards.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers.
• Contribute to the improvement of our development processes and tools
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
• Develop and maintain high-quality front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into functional and user-friendly interfaces.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize website performance
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 security standards and best practices in secure development

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with Ruby
• Strong experience with the Padrino framework (or Sinatra)
• Strong proficiency with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Extensive experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Excellent testing skills, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with team members and stakeholders
• Passion for learning new technologies and a continuous improvement mindset
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills, with an ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
• Demonstrated experience with MongoDB Cloud services and AWS environments, including deployment, management, and optimization
• Solid experience in developing and maintaining front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular, or similar)
