Role Overview
This is the senior technical leadership role for our Checkout Champ and Shopify funnel stack. You’ll own the architecture end-to-end — from spec to production deploy — across three growing consumer brands, with more launches planned.
What You Will Do
You’ll lead all complex builds, mentor a junior developer, and have final say on QA and production releases. You’ll own the architecture and strategy for Checkout Champ and Shopify, including custom subscription flows, upsell/downsell sequences, and payment gateway configuration.

Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Checkout Champ
- Advanced Shopify expertise — Liquid, theme architecture, storefront customization, app ecosystem
- Strong JavaScript and front-end development skills (HTML, CSS)
- Proven experience designing subscription/rebill logic and complex payment gateway configurations
- Track record of API integration work from spec to deployment
- Deep understanding of conversion funnels and how technical decisions move CRO/AOV metrics
- Experience mentoring or leading junior developers
- Excellent written communication — async-first, remote team, clarity is non-negotiable
