In this position, you will lead the firmware architecture, development, and internalization strategy for our Farpointe business’ next-generation access control readers and credential solutions.

What you will do

<li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 8.0pt 0.0px;text-align:justify;line-height:150%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'1 dormakaba‘”>Establish and maintain internal firmware ownership, including source control, development processes, and scalable build environments

<li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 8.0pt 0.0px;text-align:justify;line-height:150%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'1 dormakaba‘”>Collaborate with hardware, software, and cross-functional teams to define system requirements and support successful new product introductions (NPI)

<li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 8.0pt 0.0px;text-align:justify;line-height:150%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'1 dormakaba‘”>Ensure firmware solutions align with dormakaba‘s security standards, regulatory compliance requirements, and product governance processes

What we require

<li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 8.0pt 0.0px;text-align:justify;line-height:150%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'1 dormakaba‘”>5+ years of embedded firmware experience

<li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 8.0pt 0.0px;text-align:justify;line-height:150%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'1 dormakaba‘”>Expert-level proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems, with experience developing firmware in RTOS environments (ThreadX, Zephyr, and similar platforms)

<li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 8.0pt 0.0px;text-align:justify;line-height:150%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'1 dormakaba‘”>Strong knowledge of secure firmware design, cryptographic systems, and the integration of RFID, BLE, OSDP, and related access control technologies

<li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 8.0pt 0.0px;text-align:justify;line-height:150%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'1 dormakaba‘”>Experience with STM32 microcontrollers or similar embedded architectures, including firmware optimization for power efficiency, responsiveness, and reliability

<li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 8.0pt 0.0px;text-align:justify;line-height:150%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'1 dormakaba‘”>Hands-on expertise with embedded development and validation tools, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers for debugging and testing
