We are looking for a Freelance Translator who is native speaker of Slovenian to support our Translations team.
The ideal candidate will be fluent in English andSlovenian and will have previous experience in translation, preferably in the financial industry.
Your job would involve:
- Using our user interface to translate strings of documents (translation keys) for our clients, very prestigious Wall Street investment banks.
- Reviewing documents (which are never longer than three pages) in a dedicated platform to ensure the quality and fluency of Slovenian translations.
- Optimizing and reviewing language and translation automation as requested.
While at WSD, you will be exposed to several projects that focus on language automation and translation for major investment banks. You will be provided with training on our internal software.
Responsibilities:
- Timely and accurate Slovenian translations; abiding by and adhering to relevant standards; address flaws on a grammatical and technical level.
- Ensure that final documents are accurate, clear and flow well in Slovenian.
- Supporting our developers in document automation projects that require specialized language skills.
Skills:
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Slovenian.Additional languages are desirable.
- Able to work according to tight deadlines and independently.
- Self-motivated with an eye for details.
