Bordr

We’re looking for a UX Writer who can provide regular support in creating effective communication materials.

You will help us craft a consistent brand voice across all of our written assets. This is an interdisciplinary role that will require you to collaborate across most, if not all teams within our organization.

Here are some examples of documents that you will work on:

  • External (customer-facing)
    • Customer instructions guides
    • Sales pages
    • Product copy
    • FAQ’s
    • Email templates
  • Internal (teams within Bordr and vendors)
    • Standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
    • Service level agreements (SLA’s)
  • Native level of English language (US preferred)
  • Previous experience with copywriting and information architecture (UX)
    • UX skills – Since we work in a space known to be full of hard-to-understand jargon, we have an important job of distilling the noise into clear communications. In order to achieve this, you will need to be comfortable organizing content in such a way that it makes sense to the end-user.
    • Writing skills – You will need to select the appropriate words to clearly communicate the message in the Bordr voice.
  • Ability to write in a casual, yet professional (although not overly so) manner
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
