As the Financial Analyst, you’ll be a core finance partner to a high-velocity, scaling business by translating complex commercial activity into clean financials, sharp insights, and executive-ready narratives. This role sits at the intersection of accounting rigor and strategic finance.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Close: Own month end processes and actualization of the Ads P&L, including revenue, expenses, and headcount, and ensure all data is accurate and organized efficiently.
- FP&A Reporting: Drive variance analyses and forecasting for Finance and Ads leadership on a weekly basis. Own all budget, actuals, and forecast variance analyses and provide forward-looking insights on revenue/expense trends.
- Budget Management: Approve and own spend across the rapidly growing business. Collaborate with procurement and business operations to understand vendor usage and ROI to the business.
- Ads Reporting: Provide reporting for campaign margins, account growth, and sales rep efficiency routinely. Build relationships with cross functional teams to deliver well-rounded, thoughtful insights.
- Executive Presentation: Translate dense data into clean, executive-ready Google Slides for VP- and C-suite reviews.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong accounting background preferred. FP&A and/or advertising experience is helpful but not required.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets knowledge: you are able to comfortably dig through spreadsheets, even ones you have not built.
- Curiosity and comfortability with ambiguity: you possess the ability to research and present your findings with little historicals and guidance.
- Attention to detail: you are extremely thorough with your reviews and can understand the bigger picture from the data.
