AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. is hiring a full-time Supervisor, Claims Medical Only in Princeton, Mercer County. This leadership role oversees the medical-only claims operation within our workers' compensation insurance practice.
About the Role
As Supervisor of Claims Medical Only, you'll lead a dedicated team managing medical-only claims within our workers' compensation department. You'll drive day-to-day operations, ensure quality and compliance, and guide your team toward consistent, accurate claim resolutions. This hands-on supervisory position balances strategic oversight with hands-on problem-solving.
What You'll Do
- Supervise administrative staff and claims professionals handling medical-only claim processing and customer service
- Monitor claim quality, accuracy, and timeliness to meet company and regulatory standards
- Review and authorize claim decisions, documentation, and claimant communications
- Conduct performance management, training, and professional development for your team
- Ensure compliance with state workers' compensation regulations and internal policies
- Coordinate with medical providers, injured workers, and other departments to resolve claim issues
- Track and report on departmental performance, claim volumes, and operational metrics
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated supervisory or management experience in claims, insurance, or related fields
- Knowledge of workers' compensation claims handling and medical-only claim procedures
- Understanding of state workers' compensation laws and compliance requirements
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building capabilities
