Field Mechanic

Join MYR Group as a Field Mechanic in Grand Prairie, Dallas, where you'll maintain and repair equipment that keeps our operations moving. In this full-time position, you'll visit project sites across our service area, working directly with field teams to ensure equipment reliability and project success.

What You'll Do

• Visit designated work locations to provide on-site equipment maintenance and repairs
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment operating at peak performance
• Conduct diagnostics and complete repairs on mechanical equipment
• Support field teams by minimizing equipment downtime and maintaining project schedules
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities
• Work with professionalism and strict adherence to all safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance or mechanical repair work
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently at remote job sites
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regular travel
