Colliers International Valuation & Advisory Services is hiring an Assistant Property Manager to join our Phoenix office in Maricopa County. This is a full-time position supporting the delivery of exceptional property management services to our clients across the region.
About the Role
As an Assistant Property Manager, you'll be the operational backbone of our property management team, handling day-to-day tasks that keep properties running smoothly and tenants satisfied. You'll work alongside experienced property managers to ensure every client receives the highest level of service and attention to detail.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate with tenants and vendors to address maintenance requests, repairs, and property issues promptly
- Assist with lease administration, including rent collection tracking and tenant communication
- Conduct routine property inspections and document findings for the management team
- Process and organize property documentation, tenant files, and operational records
- Support the property manager in rent reconciliation and financial reporting
- Help schedule maintenance services and track vendor relationships
- Respond to routine tenant inquiries and escalate complex issues appropriately
- Assist with occupancy management and lease renewal coordination
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or property management coursework preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple properties and tenants
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and financial tracking
- Professional, courteous demeanor when interacting with tenants and vendors
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
