About the Role
You'll serve as a Program Management Support professional contributing to the oversight and execution of defense programs. This role centers on the core disciplines that drive program success: managing cost, schedule, performance metrics, and risk across multiple technical and organizational priorities. You'll work in an environment where balancing competing priorities is essential and where your ability to track and communicate program health directly influences mission outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Support program cost, schedule, and performance management activities for DoD weapon systems
- Contribute to risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies
- Assist with acquisition and program management documentation and reporting
- Track and communicate program metrics and status to stakeholders
- Support coordination between technical teams and program leadership
- Participate in program reviews and planning activities
What We're Looking For
- Current knowledge of acquisition and program management practices, particularly in defense contexts
- Experience supporting DoD weapon systems programs (Air Force experience preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple program priorities simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating cost, schedule, and performance data
- Clear communication skills for translating program information across technical and non-technical audiences
- Attention to detail and organizational ability in a structured program environment
