About the Role
The Resident Services Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting residents through direct case management and housing stabilization services. You'll help individuals and families build the foundation for stable housing and long-term independence.
What You'll Do
- Provide housing stabilization services and case management to households experiencing homelessness or low income
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized service plans for each resident
- Connect residents with employment resources, benefits, and community support services
- Maintain regular contact with residents to track progress and adapt services to changing needs
- Build supportive relationships to encourage resident engagement and program participation
- Maintain accurate documentation and program records in compliance with requirements
- Collaborate with colleagues and community partners to ensure coordinated, effective services
What We're Looking For
- Strong commitment to supporting people experiencing homelessness or living in poverty
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, particularly with vulnerable populations
- Experience in case management, social services, or similar fields (or related education and professional experience)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a nonprofit environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in record-keeping
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred)
