Amentum is hiring a full-time Collection Manager to join its intelligence team supporting the United States Space Command (USSPACECOM) mission in Colorado Springs, Colorado — a critical hub for national space defense operations.
About the Role
As a mid-level Collection Manager embedded within the USSPACECOM program at Colorado Springs, you will serve as a key integrator between intelligence requirements and collection operations. Working directly in support of the Commander's Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIRs), you will ensure decision-makers receive the timely, accurate intelligence needed to support both deliberate planning and crisis action scenarios.
What You'll Do
- Apply Collection Requirements Management (CRM) and Collection Operations Management (COM) principles to drive satisfaction of CDRUSSPACECOM PIRs
- Translate current intelligence needs into actionable collection strategies aligned with deliberate planning and crisis action planning cycles
- Coordinate across intelligence disciplines to optimize collection coverage and eliminate gaps
- Develop, maintain, and refine collection plans that support operational and strategic space domain objectives
- Monitor the effectiveness of ongoing collection activities and recommend adjustments to satisfy evolving requirements
- Liaise with national, theater, and tactical collection assets and their managers to synchronize efforts
- Produce assessments and feedback reports that measure collection performance against stated requirements
- Collaborate with all-source analysts and operations staff to ensure collected intelligence feeds smoothly into the analytical and planning process
What We're Looking For
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Demonstrated experience in collection management within a DoD or Intelligence Community environment
- Solid working knowledge of CRM and COM processes, tools, and doctrine
- Familiarity with the USSPACECOM mission area or space domain intelligence operations is highly desirable
- Experience supporting military planning cycles, including deliberate planning and crisis action planning
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for briefing senior military and civilian officials
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, operationally-driven environment
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent professional experience
