About the Role

As a Part Time Self Storage Relief Manager, you will step in across Universal Storage Group's Augusta-area locations to keep daily operations running smoothly whenever coverage is needed. You'll be the face of the facility — guiding customers, processing rentals, and ensuring a secure, well-maintained property from open to close.

What You'll Do

• Open and close the storage facility, perform daily walk-throughs, and verify site security
• Greet customers, conduct unit tours, and match renters with the right storage solution for their needs
• Execute lease agreements, process move-ins and move-outs, and handle payment transactions accurately
• Respond to customer inquiries in person and by phone with professionalism and genuine care
• Maintain cleanliness and curb appeal of the facility, noting and reporting any maintenance issues promptly
• Enforce property policies and lease terms consistently and courteously
• Use facility management software to update unit availability, post payments, and pull reports

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience in customer service, retail, property management, or a related field
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays as relief coverage requires
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency — comfortable learning property management software
