Part-Time Certified Pool Operator

About the Role

In this part-time position, you will ensure safe, clean, and properly maintained aquatic facilities. Your work supports a healthy environment for our university community while maintaining full compliance with all applicable health, safety, and regulatory standards.

What You'll Do

• Test and monitor water chemistry, maintaining proper pH, chlorine, and alkalinity levels
• Perform routine cleaning, filtration system maintenance, and equipment inspections
• Conduct daily safety inspections and compliance checks
• Maintain accurate operational and maintenance records
• Identify equipment issues and coordinate necessary repairs
• Support facility opening, closing, and routine maintenance activities

What We're Looking For

• Current Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification or equivalent state license
• Proven experience operating and maintaining aquatic facilities
• Working knowledge of water chemistry and pool maintenance standards
• Ability to work independently and follow established protocols
• Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
