Join the University of Oklahoma Libraries as a Graduate Research Assistant this fall. This full-time graduate position offers OU graduate students the opportunity to gain practical research experience while supporting library operations and scholarly initiatives on the Norman, Cleveland County campus.
About the Role
As a Graduate Research Assistant at University of Oklahoma Libraries, you'll work directly with our academic team on meaningful research projects that support the library's mission to advance scholarship and learning. This role combines hands-on research work with professional development in an academic library environment.
What You'll Do
- Conduct research projects that support library operations and academic initiatives
- Collaborate with library staff and faculty on scholarly work
- Support library functions and research services
- Participate in professional development within the library setting
- Travel as needed for project-related activities
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled as an OU graduate student
- Strong research and analytical capabilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to supporting academic and library services
- Adaptability and willingness to develop new skills
Work Schedule & Compensation
This position requires 20 hours per week, scheduled between 8am and 5pm with flexibility to accommodate your graduate coursework. Compensation is $893.72 biweekly. This is a full-time graduate assistant role for the fall semester.
