The Brotherhood Sister Sol
The Brotherhood Sister Sol is seeking a passionate Liberation Program Facilitator & Organizer to join our team in New York City, New York. In this full-time, on-site role, you will guide young people through transformative programming rooted in justice, identity, and collective power.
About the Role
As a Liberation Program Facilitator & Organizer, you will design and lead group sessions, mentor youth participants, and build organizing campaigns that connect personal growth to community change. This position blends direct facilitation with grassroots organizing, supporting Black and Latinx young people as they explore their history and shape the future they envision. The annual salary range for this role is $70,000 – $75,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and facilitate engaging educational and leadership workshops for youth participants.
- Mentor and support young people in developing their identity, voice, and sense of community.
- Organize campaigns and activities that advance social justice and confront inequity.
- Build trusting relationships with participants, families, and community partners.
- Collaborate with staff to deliver consistent, values-driven programming.
Qualifications
- Experience facilitating programs or workshops for youth or community groups.
- A demonstrated commitment to racial justice, equity, and youth empowerment.
- Strong organizing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively with Black and Latinx young people and their communities.
- Availability to work full-time, on-site in New York City, New York.

Founded in 1995, The Brotherhood Sister Sol (BroSis) is a social justice youth development organization where Black and Latinx young people claim the power of their history, identity, and community to build the future they want to see. Through educating, organizing, and training, we work to challenge inequity and nurture the next generation of leaders and changemakers in New York City.
