About the Role

As a Scientist V with General Atomics in Hygiene, Boulder County, you will operate at a senior scientific level, applying deep technical expertise to challenging programs within General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems (GA-EMS), a rapidly expanding part of the organization. This is an on-site, full-time position suited to an experienced scientist ready to drive innovation and guide technical direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead advanced scientific research and development efforts supporting GA-EMS programs.
• Apply expertise across high-technology systems, which may span areas such as electric, electronic, wireless, and laser technologies.
• Solve complex technical problems and translate findings into practical, deliverable outcomes.
• Provide senior-level scientific guidance and mentorship to project teams.
• Collaborate across engineering and program disciplines to advance project goals.

Qualifications

• An advanced background in a relevant scientific or technical discipline appropriate to a senior Scientist V role.
• Demonstrated experience leading research or development work in a high-technology environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Hygiene, Boulder County.
