Procurement Technology Lead

About the Role

As the GPS Procurement Technology Lead, you will partner with the Systems Governance and Architecture team inside the Procurement Strategy and Business Intelligence (PSBI) organization. Your mandate is to strengthen operating discipline, sharpen regulatory and compliance rigor, and champion the adoption of modern tools, platforms, and ways of working that elevate the procurement function end to end. This is an on-site position based in Philadelphia County.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the modernization of procurement systems, processes, and technology across the GPS portfolio.
• Embed stronger operating discipline and clear governance standards into day-to-day procurement activities.
• Apply regulatory and compliance rigor to ensure procurement practices meet evolving requirements.
• Evaluate and introduce next-generation tools and technologies that improve efficiency and decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with the Systems Governance and Architecture team within the PSBI organization.
• Promote new ways of working that advance the maturity of the broader procurement function.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading procurement technology, systems, or transformation initiatives.
• Strong grasp of procurement operations, governance frameworks, and architecture principles.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations affecting procurement.
• Ability to assess, select, and drive adoption of modern procurement platforms and tools.
• Effective collaboration and stakeholder-management skills across cross-functional teams.
