About the Role
As a Field Technician with EchoStar in Hoytsville, Summit County, you will be the hands-on face of our brands in the community — traveling to customer locations to install, configure, and maintain the products and services that keep people connected. This is an on-site, full-time position ideal for someone who enjoys solving practical problems and delivering a great customer experience in person.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and set up satellite television, smart home, and connectivity equipment at residential and commercial sites.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with EchoStar systems and services in the field.
- Educate customers on how to use their newly installed products and answer their questions on site.
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and service calls across the Hoytsville and Summit County service area.
- Document completed work accurately and represent EchoStar professionally with every customer interaction.
Qualifications
- Comfort working hands-on with electronic equipment, tools, and installation hardware.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Friendly, customer-focused communication style.
- Ability to travel to job sites throughout Summit County and work full-time on a flexible schedule.
- A valid driver's license and a reliable, safety-minded approach to fieldwork.
