Director, Corporate & Securities

KBR is hiring a full-time Director, Corporate & Securities to join our team in the Old Sixth Ward of Houston, where you will lead the legal strategy behind our most important corporate and securities matters. This on-site leadership position offers the chance to shape governance and compliance at a global engineering and technology company.

About the Role

As Director, Corporate & Securities at KBR, you will serve as a trusted advisor across the organization, guiding the company through complex corporate transactions, securities reporting obligations, and governance practices. Based in Houston's Old Sixth Ward, this role partners closely with internal teams, external counsel, and business leaders to deliver practical, forward-looking legal solutions that support KBR's growth and its commitment to Zero Harm and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead corporate and securities legal matters, including SEC reporting, disclosure, and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Advise the board, executives, and business units on corporate governance, structure, and strategic transactions.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, financings, and other significant corporate initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and outside counsel to manage risk and resolve complex legal questions.
• Help develop and maintain policies, controls, and processes that reinforce sound corporate governance.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice law.
• Substantial experience in corporate and securities law, ideally within a public company or a leading law firm.
• Deep knowledge of SEC regulations, securities reporting, and corporate governance best practices.
• Proven ability to advise senior leadership on high-stakes, business-critical matters.
• Strong judgment, communication skills, and a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset.
