Quality Associate

Hendrickson Intl is hiring a detail-oriented Quality Associate to support product and process integrity at our Mount Vernon, Lawrence County facility — a full-time, on-site opportunity for someone who takes pride in precision work.

About the Role

As a Quality Associate at Hendrickson Intl, you will play a hands-on role in maintaining manufacturing quality standards through regular audits, inspections, and calibration activities. You will work directly on the production floor to ensure that parts and processes meet established specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct product and process quality audits in accordance with established procedures
• Perform part layouts and inspections as assigned by quality leadership
• Operate standard inspection instruments including calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, and various gauges
• Manage and follow the red-tag nonconformance process, including tracking and follow-up
• Maintain the gauge calibration program to ensure measurement accuracy
• Apply statistical process control (SPC) methods to monitor and evaluate quality data

Qualifications

• Ability to use basic metrology and inspection tools accurately (calipers, mics, torque wrenches, gauges)
• Familiarity with quality audit processes in a manufacturing environment
• Understanding of red-tag or nonconformance workflows
• Knowledge of gauge calibration practices
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to process discipline
• Ability to work independently on the production floor and communicate findings clearly
