External SA Recycling is hiring a full-time Operations Labor team member at our Pensacola, Escambia County facility — a hands-on role at the heart of our material processing and recycling operations.

About the Role

As an Operations Labor employee at External SA Recycling in Pensacola, you'll work on the production floor performing the physical tasks that keep our recycling and materials-handling operation running efficiently. This is an active, full-time position suited to individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Unloading incoming pallets, boxes, and bundled materials from deliveries
• Sorting and handling materials — including pushing, pulling, picking, lifting, carrying, and loading hoppers, conveyor belts, and storage containers
• Unpacking boxes using box cutters and separating components such as plastics, zip ties, blister packs, and other packaging materials
• Disassembling small equipment and performing tasks such as cutting wires, torqueing pipe fittings, and removing hardware as directed
• Supporting overall floor operations and maintaining a clean, safe workspace

Qualifications

• Ability to perform sustained physical labor including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods
• Comfort working with hand tools such as box cutters and basic mechanical equipment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions in a production setting
• Prior experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or recycling environments is a plus but not required
