Bilingual (Spanish) Program Assistant

Community Consolidated School District 15 is seeking a dedicated Bilingual (Spanish) Program Assistant to support students and staff at Kimball Hill School in Rolling Meadows, Cook County, Illinois.

About the Role

This full-time, in-person position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a vibrant elementary school community. Working a 185-day annual calendar at 5.5 hours each day, Monday through Friday, the Bilingual (Spanish) Program Assistant plays a key part in helping Spanish-speaking students thrive. The role pays $16.88 per hour and includes an excellent benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers and program staff in delivering instructional support to students.
• Use fluency in Spanish and English to bridge communication between students, families, and educators.
• Support the academic and social development of bilingual and emergent multilingual learners.
• Help create an inclusive, welcoming environment within the school day at Kimball Hill School.
• Carry out additional program-related duties as outlined in the district job description.

Qualifications

• Spanish-English bilingual proficiency, both spoken and written.

• A genuine commitment to supporting student learning and family engagement.
• Availability for the regular schedule of 5.5 hours per day across the 185-day school calendar.
