Support – Safety – Level II

Fluor is seeking a dedicated Support - Safety - Level II professional to join our team in New Baden, Robertson County — a full-time opportunity to contribute to a global engineering and construction leader with a deep commitment to workplace safety culture.

About the Role

As a Safety Support Level II at Fluor, you will play a hands-on role in maintaining safe working conditions across project operations. This position is integral to helping project teams meet and exceed safety standards, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and reinforcing a culture where every worker goes home safely. You will collaborate closely with site personnel and safety leadership to identify hazards, support incident prevention initiatives, and uphold Fluor's high standards for health and safety performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of site-specific safety programs and procedures
• Conduct routine safety inspections, walkthroughs, and hazard assessments across work areas
• Support documentation of safety observations, near-misses, and corrective actions
• Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training sessions for site personnel
• Help investigate incidents and assist with root-cause analysis reporting
• Ensure proper use and availability of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Maintain accurate safety records and contribute to regulatory compliance activities

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a construction, industrial, or project-site safety support role
• Working knowledge of OSHA standards and general safety best practices
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail in hazard identification
• Ability to communicate safety information clearly to diverse site teams
• Proficiency in maintaining safety documentation and records
• Relevant safety certifications or coursework are a plus
