About the Role
As an HVAC Installer at East Coast Mechanical Contractors, Inc., you will be responsible for the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across both residential and commercial job sites. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Install residential and commercial split systems and rooftop HVAC units
- Fabricate and install sheet metal ductwork according to project specifications
- Cut and thread gas piping to meet system requirements
- Perform brazing and ProPress connections on copper refrigerant piping
- Run and connect refrigerant line sets in compliance with industry standards
- Follow all applicable safety codes, regulations, and company procedures on every job
Qualifications
- Demonstrated hands-on experience installing HVAC systems in residential or commercial settings
- Proficiency with sheet metal ductwork fabrication and installation
- Working knowledge of gas piping — cutting, threading, and proper fitting
- Experience with copper piping techniques including brazing and ProPress methods
- Ability to work independently on job sites while meeting project timelines
- Commitment to safety and quality craftsmanship on every installation
