Based in View Park, Los Angeles County, this full-time, on-site role is ideal for a construction professional with a proven track record in upscale retail environments.
About the Role
The Assistant Project Manager will work directly alongside a senior Project Manager to coordinate and execute construction projects for luxury retail spaces. Candidates must bring demonstrated, documented experience in both high-end retail store construction and detailed project scheduling — these are non-negotiable requirements for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee day-to-day construction activities for high-end retail projects
- Develop, maintain, and track detailed project schedules to ensure milestones are met
- Monitor project progress, flagging risks or delays and supporting timely resolution
- Facilitate communication between field teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Assist with documentation, reporting, and quality control throughout the construction lifecycle
Qualifications
- Prior hands-on experience in the construction of high-end retail stores — required
- Documented experience creating and managing detailed construction schedules — required
- Strong organizational and communication skills suited to fast-paced project environments
- Ability to work collaboratively within a project management team structure
