About the Role

As a Meat/Produce Team Associate in Leland, you'll be a key part of the team responsible for one of the highest-traffic areas in the store. Your day centers on keeping the Fresh section well-stocked, visually appealing, and operating in full compliance with food safety guidelines. This is an active, floor-based position where attention to detail and a commitment to quality make a direct difference for customers every shift.

What You'll Do

• Stock and replenish meat and produce cases throughout the day to ensure the Fresh area is always full and shoppable
• Rotate product correctly to minimize waste and maintain freshness, following first-in, first-out (FIFO) principles
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards across the Fresh department at all times
• Receive and process incoming merchandise, moving product efficiently from the backroom to the sales floor
• Build and maintain Fresh department displays so they remain neat, accurate, and well-presented from open to close
• Monitor product quality and remove any items that do not meet freshness or safety standards
• Collaborate with department teammates and store leadership to support daily Fresh operations

• Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments, including coolers and refrigerated cases
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and move merchandise throughout a full shift
• Strong attention to detail when it comes to product rotation, labeling, and display presentation
• A customer-focused mindset and willingness to assist shoppers in the Fresh area
• Reliability and punctuality — consistent attendance is essential in a stocking-focused role
• Basic understanding of or willingness to learn food safety handling procedures
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment
