CDL-A Truck Driver

KAG Food Products, a division of Kenan Advantage Group, is hiring full-time CDL-A Owner Operators based in or near Saint Joseph, Buchanan County to run over-the-road food-grade freight with consistent miles and serious earning upside.

About the Role

This CDL-A truck driver position is built for experienced owner operators who want reliable OTR lanes hauling food-grade products. Kenan Advantage Group's food division pairs drivers with steady freight volume and the operational backing that keeps owner ops profitable mile after mile. Drivers in this role can target earnings around $250,000 per year.

What You'll Do

• Operate your own tractor on OTR lanes transporting food-grade bulk and packaged products
• Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and document findings accurately
• Maintain full DOT compliance, including ELD logs and hours-of-service regulations
• Adhere to food-safety handling standards throughout pickup, transit, and delivery
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding load status, delays, or route changes
• Deliver freight on schedule while upholding safety-first practices at all times

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
• Owner operator with your own qualifying tractor
• Verifiable OTR driving experience and a clean MVR
• Current DOT medical certification
• Familiarity with food-grade freight requirements and sanitation protocols
• Strong time-management skills and the ability to operate independently over long hauls
