HR Generalist

Easy to register is seeking a full-time HR Generalist to join our corporate team in Longstown, York County — a pivotal people operations role supporting a workforce of more than 900 employees across store, regional, and corporate levels in the self-storage property management industry.

About the Role

As an HR Generalist with Easy to register, you will be a trusted partner to both employees and leadership — managing the core HR functions that drive a workplace culture worthy of Pennsylvania's Best Places to Work designation five consecutive years running (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025). This is a generalist position with real breadth and ownership, based on-site in Longstown.

What You'll Do

• Own full-cycle recruitment for store-level, regional, and corporate openings — from job posting through offer acceptance
• Design and deliver onboarding experiences that connect new hires to our culture from day one
• Act as a primary resource for employee relations matters, conducting fair, thorough investigations when needed
• Administer benefits programs, leaves of absence, and workers' compensation claims
• Maintain data accuracy across the HRIS and produce regular HR reporting for leadership
• Support managers with performance management processes, corrective action, and documentation best practices
• Review and update HR policies to stay current with federal and Pennsylvania employment law
• Contribute to training, engagement, and retention initiatives across the organization

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• 2+ years of experience in a broad HR generalist or multi-function HR capacity
• Solid command of federal and PA employment law — FMLA, ADA, EEO, and wage-and-hour compliance
• Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms and HR data management
• Strong communicator who earns trust at every level of the organization
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with integrity
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus but not required
