Venue Backstage Security

Live Nation Worldwide is hiring part-time Venue Backstage Security professionals to join its event operations team in Riverside, Riverside County — keeping artists, crew, and production staff safe at some of the most high-profile live events in the region.

About the Role

As a Venue Backstage Security team member, you are the frontline protector of restricted production spaces. You control access to backstage and artist areas during concerts and live events, ensuring only credentialed personnel enter secured zones. This is a part-time, on-site position based in Riverside, CA — not a remote opportunity.

What You'll Do

• Enforce access control at backstage entry points, stage perimeters, and restricted production corridors
• Verify credentials, wristbands, and passes for artists, touring crew, vendors, and venue staff
• Escort talent, VIP guests, and authorized personnel through secured areas
• Monitor designated zones throughout the event to identify and address unauthorized access or suspicious activity
• Coordinate closely with production managers, event security leads, and local law enforcement when needed
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, applying de-escalation techniques before escalating to supervisors
• Complete post-event reports and communicate observations to the security team

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience in security, loss prevention, event operations, or a related field preferred
• Strong situational awareness and the ability to remain composed in fast-paced, high-energy environments
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional, approachable demeanor
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as event schedules require
• A valid California Guard Card or eligibility to obtain one is a plus
• Team-oriented mindset with a genuine commitment to safety and guest experience
