RN / LPN – Full Time Nights

Good Samaritan is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the overnight shift at its senior care facility in Currie, Murray County, Minnesota — an opportunity to bring compassionate, skilled nursing to a community that has trusted this mission-driven organization for generations.

About the Role

This full-time night position runs 36 hours per week, delivering hands-on clinical nursing care to senior residents in a supportive, faith-based long-term care setting. The pay range for this role is $28.00–$48.00 per hour, commensurate with licensure and experience.

What You'll Do

• Assess resident health status, monitor vital signs, and document findings accurately throughout each overnight shift
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Develop, implement, and update individualized resident care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
• Respond promptly to changes in resident condition and escalate concerns to appropriate medical staff
• Provide direction and oversight to certified nursing assistants (CNAs) on the night unit
• Maintain thorough, compliant documentation in the electronic health record
• Uphold resident dignity, privacy, and comfort in every interaction

What We're Looking For

• Current, unrestricted RN or LPN licensure in the state of Minnesota
• Availability and reliability for consistent full-time overnight hours (36 hours/week)
• Strong clinical assessment skills and sound nursing judgment, especially in a long-term care or senior living environment
• Current BLS/CPR certification, or ability to obtain prior to start
• Genuine commitment to person-centered, compassionate elder care
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across care teams
