PSI Services is seeking an accomplished Credentialing Business Unit General Manager to take full ownership of its credentialing division, based in Frankfort, Franklin County — a senior executive opportunity at a globally recognized leader in workforce assessment and professional credentialing.
About the Role
This full-time General Manager position carries end-to-end accountability for the commercial performance, operational delivery, and strategic growth of PSI's credentialing business unit. Compensation includes a base salary of $227,000–$284,000, a 30% bonus target, and a bonus structure aligned to organizational performance metrics. The role reports into senior executive leadership and carries significant organizational influence.
What You'll Do
- Define and execute the long-term strategic direction of the credentialing business unit, in alignment with company-wide priorities
- Own full P&L responsibility, driving revenue growth, managing costs, and improving margin performance
- Lead cross-functional teams across operations, client services, product delivery, and sales
- Cultivate and expand relationships with licensing boards, certification bodies, professional associations, and government agencies
- Oversee end-to-end credentialing program delivery, maintaining high standards for quality, compliance, and candidate experience
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and market expansion initiatives
- Ensure all business unit activities conform to applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Present performance results and strategic plans to executive leadership, contributing to enterprise-level decision-making
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated executive leadership experience with full P&L ownership of a business unit or division
- Substantial background in credentialing, licensure, professional certification, or a closely adjacent assessment sector
- Track record of growing revenue, deepening client relationships, and successfully entering new markets
- Experience building and scaling high-performing teams within matrixed organizational environments
- Familiarity with regulatory bodies, licensing boards, or government program clients is a strong advantage
- Exceptional strategic agility, executive communication skills, and stakeholder management capability
- Bachelor's degree required; graduate-level education in business, public administration, or a related discipline is preferred
