Staff Accountant

Rose Financial Solutions LLC is hiring a full-time Staff Accountant to join its growing team in North Bethesda, Montgomery County, Maryland — a hands-on accounting role at a firm redefining how businesses manage their financial back office.

About the Role

As a Staff Accountant at Rose Financial Solutions LLC, you will be a core contributor to delivering Finance as a Service (FaaS) for a diverse portfolio of clients. Working within a technology-forward environment that leverages Easby®, the firm's proprietary enterprise-grade engagement platform, you will help clients achieve financial clarity by supporting accurate, timely, and well-organized accounting operations.

What You'll Do

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Prepare and post journal entries in support of the month-end and year-end close cycle
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management reports for client delivery
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
• Assist with internal and external audit preparation, including document gathering and workpaper support
• Help identify process inefficiencies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate cross-functionally with client-facing teams to ensure accurate financial data

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
• 1–3 years of accounting experience, whether in public accounting, industry, or a client-services environment
• Solid understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles
• Proficiency with accounting software platforms (experience with cloud-based or ERP systems is a plus)
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational habits
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines simultaneously
• CPA licensure or active pursuit of CPA certification is preferred
