Data Center Low Voltage Engineer III

Oracle is hiring a Data Center Low Voltage Engineer III to join its Data Center Construction team in Tarrytown, Travis County — a full-time, on-site role supporting the rapid growth of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

About the Role

As part of Oracle's Data Center Construction organization, you'll work within the Telecommunications Infrastructure team responsible for designing and deploying the low voltage systems that serve as the operational backbone of OCI's gigawatt-scale data center campuses. This is a hands-on engineering role where your work directly enables Oracle's global cloud network.

What You'll Do

• Design, scope, and oversee installation of structured cabling systems — both copper and fiber — across large-scale data center environments
• Manage deployment of physical security systems including access control and video surveillance infrastructure
• Coordinate AV system design and integration in support of campus operations
• Support Building Management System (BMS) and controls infrastructure implementation and commissioning
• Review low voltage contractor submittals, RFIs, and change orders; conduct field inspections to verify quality and code compliance
• Develop and maintain accurate as-built documentation, cable schedules, and system drawings
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and construction teams to coordinate low voltage work within active construction schedules
• Participate in project turnover and systems acceptance testing

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience designing and managing low voltage systems in mission-critical or enterprise data center environments
• Proficiency with structured cabling standards (TIA-568, BICSI guidelines) and industry best practices
• Working knowledge of physical security platforms, AV systems, and BMS/controls integration
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and single-line diagrams
• Strong vendor and subcontractor management skills with the ability to enforce quality standards in the field
• BICSI RCDD, DCDC, or equivalent low voltage credentials are a plus
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth construction environment with shifting priorities
