About the Role

As an Irrigation Technician at The Master's Lawn Care, you'll be the hands-on expert responsible for the installation, diagnosis, repair, and ongoing maintenance of residential and commercial irrigation systems throughout St. Johns County. You'll work independently in the field while representing a company that has earned its reputation over more than 20 years of exceptional service.

What You'll Do

• Install new irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties, including sprinkler heads, valves, mainlines, and lateral lines
• Diagnose and repair system malfunctions, including broken heads, faulty valves, controller issues, and pipe leaks
• Program and calibrate irrigation controllers and smart timers to optimize water usage and schedule efficiency
• Perform seasonal system startups and shutdowns, including pressure testing and coverage audits
• Assess existing systems and recommend upgrades or efficiency improvements to customers
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate clearly with clients on completed work and next steps
• Adhere to local water management regulations and best practices for water conservation

What We're Looking For

• Proven hands-on experience installing and servicing residential and/or commercial irrigation systems
• Working knowledge of system components from leading manufacturers such as Rain Bird, Hunter, or Toro
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve both mechanical and electrical irrigation faults efficiently
• Familiarity with backflow prevention devices and relevant testing procedures is a plus
• Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record
• Physical stamina to work outdoors in Florida's climate year-round
• Strong attention to detail and a professional, customer-focused attitude
