Supply Chain Manager (SIOP)

ThermoFisher Scientific is seeking a full-time Supply Chain Manager (SIOP) to join its team in Greenville, Pitt County — a strategic role for a data-driven planning leader who thrives at the intersection of demand, inventory, and operations in a global life sciences environment.

About the Role

In this Supply Chain Manager (SIOP) position at ThermoFisher Scientific's Greenville location, you will own the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning process end-to-end, working a standard Monday–Friday office schedule. You'll serve as the critical link between commercial, finance, manufacturing, and procurement teams — turning forecast data into executable supply plans and building alignment across the organization's planning cycles.

What You'll Do

• Lead recurring SIOP review cycles, facilitating cross-functional planning meetings that synchronize demand forecasts, inventory positions, and production capacity
• Build and maintain integrated supply and demand plans that protect customer service levels while meeting operational and financial objectives
• Proactively identify supply/demand imbalances, develop scenario plans, and drive resolution across functional teams
• Partner with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics to ensure supply commitments are achievable and tracked to completion
• Own SIOP performance metrics — forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and on-time delivery — and translate data into actionable recommendations
• Collaborate with finance to incorporate supply chain assumptions into operating plans and financial reviews
• Champion continuous improvement efforts that reduce lead times, optimize inventory investment, and increase planning responsiveness

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Meaningful experience in supply chain planning, S&OP/SIOP, or demand management — manufacturing or life sciences background strongly preferred
• Proficiency with ERP and planning platforms (SAP, Oracle, or comparable systems)
• Strong analytical capabilities with a track record of using data to drive cross-functional decisions
• Proven ability to facilitate multi-stakeholder planning meetings and influence without direct authority
• APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) is a plus
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
• Must be able to successfully complete a comprehensive background check, including drug screening
