Resource Analyst

About the Role

As a Resource Analyst at Oracle in Providence, you will serve as the operational backbone of the Consulting practice. Working closely with Consulting leadership, you will drive resource planning decisions that directly influence revenue performance, workforce utilization, and client outcomes. What You'll Do

• Collaborate with Consulting managers to align resource deployment strategies with revenue targets and utilization goals
• Gather, organize, and maintain detailed resource specifications — including skills, availability, certifications, and experience levels — across your assigned practice area
• Proactively surface available consultants through multiple sourcing channels to fill open project assignments quickly and accurately
• Serve as the central point of communication between delivery teams and leadership on staffing status, gaps, and forecasts
• Track and report on key resource metrics, producing actionable insights that support practice planning cycles
• Partner with HR, recruiting, and program management to anticipate hiring needs and close skill gaps
• Maintain accurate workforce data within Oracle's internal systems, ensuring scheduling records reflect real-time project assignments
• Support continuous improvement of resource management processes, tools, and reporting frameworks

What We're Looking For

• Experience in resource management, workforce planning, or a staffing coordination role within a professional services or consulting environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and present findings clearly to senior stakeholders
• Proficiency with enterprise workforce management or project management platforms
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — you'll regularly interact with practice leaders, project managers, and consultants at all levels
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment
• Familiarity with Oracle products or consulting delivery models is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
