Allocation & Wave Planner (Long Beach)

BeautyHealth is hiring a full-time Allocation & Wave Planner to join its operations team in Long Beach, Los Angeles County — a hands-on supply chain role at the heart of a globally recognized beauty health brand.

About the Role

As an Allocation & Wave Planner at BeautyHealth's Long Beach facility, you will own the daily flow of outbound fulfillment. You'll plan, allocate, and release order waves through the warehouse management system, ensuring orders move efficiently from inventory to shipment. This position sits at the intersection of inventory management, operations coordination, and order fulfillment — making it essential to delivering the BeautyHealth customer experience accurately and on time.

What You'll Do

• Plan and execute daily wave releases within the warehouse management system (WMS), batching orders strategically to maximize pick efficiency and throughput
• Allocate available inventory to outbound orders in alignment with priority rules, shipping deadlines, and carrier cutoff times
• Monitor real-time order queues and adjust wave plans proactively to address exceptions, inventory shortfalls, or spikes in order volume
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors, pick-and-pack teams, and shipping coordinators to match labor capacity with planned wave output
• Partner with inventory control to resolve allocation errors, shorts, and discrepancies before they affect fulfillment
• Generate and analyze fulfillment performance reports, identifying bottlenecks and recommending process improvements
• Support cycle count activities and inventory accuracy initiatives as needed

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience in warehouse operations, order fulfillment, or supply chain planning — ideally within a high-SKU, consumer goods, or beauty and health environment
• Hands-on proficiency with a warehouse management system (WMS); familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle is a plus
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret order data and make real-time prioritization calls
• Solid understanding of distribution center workflows including pick, pack, ship, and replenishment
• Clear communicator who can coordinate effectively across operations, planning, and logistics teams in a fast-paced setting
• Detail-oriented with a consistent track record of maintaining accuracy under time pressure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or comparable tools for reporting and data analysis
