Lead P&C Technician Field Services

WSP USA is hiring a Lead P&C Technician Field Services to join its Power Testing and Energization (PTE) team, supporting electrical testing and commissioning work across utility, industrial, and bulk power environments. This full-time, on-site role is based in Uptown, Marion County, with project assignments spanning Missouri, Indiana, and Kansas.

About the Role

As a Lead P&C Technician with WSP USA, you will guide field services for protection and control systems, helping deliver reliable energization across substation and industrial projects. You'll work alongside a growing PTE team focused on solving complex electrical challenges and meeting client needs from initial testing through final commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead field testing, commissioning, and energization activities for protection and control (P&C) systems.
• Support projects in utility substations, industrial facilities, and bulk power settings.
• Coordinate field services tasks alongside members of the PTE team to keep projects on schedule.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during electrical testing and energization.
• Help meet client requirements while maintaining quality and safety standards on every assignment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with electrical testing and commissioning of protection and control systems.
• Familiarity with utility substation, industrial, and bulk power applications.
• Willingness to perform field-based work across project sites in Missouri, Indiana, or Kansas.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take a leadership role on technical field teams.
